fuel pump and wideband question
My fuel pump has been making noise for a while now. Been quiet for a year and car is running fine. I keep a extra one in the glove but just in case but now my wideband 02 goes blank after a few min of driving time. I can turn the car off and it starts reading again but shuts back off. While its working my AF is spot on everytime .
Thoughts? Maybe its going bad or something is loose?

try recalibrating the WB in free air and see if that corrects the issue. You need to determine if you can trust your measuring instrument first. Otherwise, you may as well not have it at all.
1. Recalibrate the sensor
2. Start the car and let it idle for a few mins until car reaches operating temps
3. Verify your WB readings. The sensor should read stoich at idle. If it does not, you know you have an issue there.
4. Assuming #3 is ok, go for a cruise and see what the readings are.
Good luck.

IF your running an innovate LM-1 or LC1 system and the gauges blanks out or displays "E9" or displays "-:-:-", then it is your LM module that is about to go out. When a wideband O2 sensor starts going out it usually doesn't lock up, it just starts show wild changes in AFR's.
