So I got my tranny replaced about 500 miles ago due to 2nd gear grinding sometimes.

The issue was that the synchonizer failed. So it was replaced.

Now it's doing the samething again. Whenever I put it in to a 2nd gear, it grinds sometimes.

I'm only at 28k miles. Does anybody have any suggestions?

I know I need to take it back in but wouldn't it do it again even if they replace the whole tranny again?!?

 

Probably need to change your driving style if you keep blowing synchros...

 

I'm the safest/slowest driver ever. I would gun my car AT MOST, ONCE a month, or even in two months.

I baby my car and always shift my gear at 2500-3k RPM.
