Default Lumpy idle and revving!! Help!

I've been having idle problems with my car since I reinstalled my plenum and AEM CAI. The only thing I notice is that the breather hose to the intake is a little crimped. Could that be the problem?

Or am I overlooking something with the plenum? All the vacuum and coolant lines are hooked up. Is there anything else I should look for? Has anyone had this problem? Thanks.

Bad idle can be caused by a vacuum leak. Seeing as you've changed the plenum and intake I'd go back and check it all to make sure any gaskets and hoses are properly seated. Chances are you have a leak somewhere.

Thanks. That's what I was afraid of. The plenum is a ***** to remove. I'll have to take care of it this weekend sometime. I can't see myself missing anything.. and the TB gasket is a no brainer... maybe it's the plenum gasket.

Lemme ask you, the two top screw holes on the back of the plenum are supposed to be left open, correct? I have the 6 studs in the front of the plenum, but none in those two back holes.

maybe try one of those ground wire kits?

sounds like you dont have one because you have the wholes at the top of the plenum open...

No I have the HKS circle earth, I just chose not to run a ground to the top of the plenum. I think it's a vacuum leak.. I may have forgotten a hose, but I doubt it, so I'll have to check the gaskets over once more. Thanks.

Dan,
I'll be up at the shop tomorrow night working on Daytona's car if you want to stop up. I'll check to see if you have a vacuum leak. We can also discuss ecu details....
