Default Squeaking and unresponsive clutch?

Hey guys, just recently up here at school i only drive my car once a week and not that far just to get groceries and recently i have noticed my clutch is squeaking when i press it in!? Also i have my clutch adjusted so it is quite low and as well as the squeak it seems like it wont allow me to go into gear or get out of gear when i start her up, i have to "pull" the clutch pedal out with my foot and then i have almost no clutch feel. the car only has 24,000 miles on it,i did drive the car every day in the summer and now its down to 10mi a week, should i adjust the pedal back out so it doesn't "settle" down? any suggestions would help alot! Oh yeah i go to Penn state and it will be getting colder so anything i should change out fluid wise to help with the few times i drive it in the cold would be great as well! Thanks in advance!

it could be several things bro.........first do the basic thing and check your master cylinder (it is next to the brake reservoir) make sure it is full.....next if that isn't your issue you might want to look into getting a SS (stainless steel) clutch line as the crap rubber one that our cars come with has issues when the temperature changes as the compression changes with temperature. also.....after you change your clutch line I would put Dot 4 fluid in when you refill and bleed your master cylinder.

Good luck and I hope that helps as this is a pain in the rear area with the Z

yeah...youn adjusted your clutch, which is a big no no, out of factory range. Put it back to where it was, and you'll once again enjoy smooth clutch engagement. The factory sets it there for a reason. While there, get a friend and bleed the clutch as well. With 24k miles, I'd flush the fluid and change it....brake/clutch fluid should really be changed 1 x per year
