alright so i know the Z has quite the loud tranny but is the chattering supposed to progress over time and get louder??

cars only got 2500mi on it and the chattering has grown noticeably louder since ive had it!

 

usually rwd cars make that noise. its normal.

 

What do you consider chatter?

 

by chatter i mean the normal sound of the z's tranny, just amplified and noticeably louder

 

The clutch-flywheel-transmission all make noise. Some other vehicles are more quit. Some more noisy.

Increase noise level could be symptomatic of mechanical problems. If you take it to the dealer they will just say its normal.
