Unhappy Need help!! Engine is on but RPM won't go up

Guys,

I need help. I can start up my engine but the RPM just stays at 1.5k even I press the accel. pedal all the way to the floor. Anyone knows what's going on?

I only have some light mods on my car. All the lights are on, SES, VDC and SLIP, damn, wtf happened? And after so much reading, there is no exact answer to this.

I cleaned the MAF and throttle body and worked like magic last night. But this morning when I was about to go to work, it acting up again. Gosh, I might try the fuel injector cleaner thing later when I get home, but that might be my last resort before I take it to the stealership.

Any expert advice? Anyone experienced this before? HELP!! PLEASE....

You can hear the engingine rev, but the tack isn't moving? = bad tach.

Or

The engine wont rev past 1.5? = Limp mode.

Try reset the ecu by either using the procedure or disconnecting your battery for 20 minutes.

+1 on limp mode, it should be throwing a code to tell you whats up.

Even if the SES light isnt on, you should scan to see if any codes are pending.

Had the exact same thing happen. Still fighting with dealership over it. They replaced the ECM, alternator - turned out to be bad oxygen sensor. Check if any wires are damaged, mine were chewed by some animal.

Well, update: I replaced the spark plugs w/ NGK Iridium, cleaned the MAF and TB, tighten spacer bolts, disconnected the battery while doing all those stuff. Turned on the engine and everything was good. Took me 5 hours to work on those w/ a help from my brother.

BUT, this afternoon when I dropped off some package I have to send out, the freakin same thing happened, all the lights on and engine won't let me rev beyond 1.5k. Turned off the engine and started it again, gone, but the SES light on this time instead of everything.

What a crazy motherf***er, I have no idea now. Do you guys think it is the MAF or TB problem? I reset the SES lights like 20 times so far, I'll bring it to Autozone the next time it comes out. Any input?

Were you able to clean and worked temporarily before you replace them?

I will just go stop by autozone, even it won't throw SES or CEL light. Worthy it to try for in your situation.
