Default Weird Rattling

Ok guys i ignored it for a while but now its getting annoying im 98% sure its coming from the tranny. Like clutch chatter but i mean the clutch/transmission/shifting feels fine. Anyway there is a weird rattling noise coming from the tranny while the car is parked and running and it gets louder while the car is being turned off. The car is a manual. Any ideas?

Normal

Quit complaining. Don't expect to buy a sports car and have it be quiet and smooth.

im not complaining ive raced motocross all my life so dnt preach to me about race materials arent smooth i think i know that. i was just concerned because if it was clutch chatter and something was wrong it would leave me stranded eventually upon ignoring the problem.

There was a thread on this yrs ago...it's perfectly normal with the 350Z. That is just the way it is. Just like if you turn the veh off, with veh in neutral & clutch not pushed in, it will make a rattle noise. But, if you turn it off with clutch pushed in, it won't...nice & quiet. Anyway my's.

Just do a search on "transmission rattle", there are like 144 hits or so, with that wording on the subject, it goes back for yrs. From everything that I have read, there is no fix from anybody. So, the word "normal" here should pertain to...it is not hurting anything or is something that is about to break. Personally, my car never makes the noise, as I always have clutched pushed-in when I turn-off my car...as I always leave it in gear when parked(of course w/ e-brake on as well). I would have to go out of my way to hear it, it other words. Problem...what stinking problem.
