Default check out my new oil cooler with V3 bumper and TN kit.

Just got this car a month ago from a friend that put a TN kit and custom PPW dash/door panels. This is what I have done today.

Easy, get two more 90 degree AN fittings, like you have on the oil cooler, for the sandwich plate.

I would also flip the oil cooler so the connections for that are on top.
You can look at other oil cooler DIY's on this site for pics and look up stillen.com for pics of their kit and how it is mounted (download the install sheet PDF).

Why should I flip the oil cooler? I took your advise and looked it up in th eDIY https://my350z.com/forum/engine-driv...-pictures.html and the first is the same setup and the second is side ways towards the drivers side.

1. prevent the lines from being hit by a curb or whatever
2. allow air bubbles to escape the cooler (during initial install or oil change)

I would assume they are -10AN....most are as -8 would be too small
and -12 to big.

Yeap, everything is nice and tucked with the 90 degree fitings. I recomend 4 per kit for the best ground clearance. Best of all, no leaks so far! Adding this to your car will have you under your car for the first week, dreding the sign of an oil leak in the line or fiting.

When ever the coolers are installed horizontal either fittings up or down you will have issues with most coolers. The rows are a serries of ununu each bend at the top will trap air whether fittings up or down. The optimal way to mount it is verticle with the input at the bottom and output at the top. That way the oil flows in the bottom and pushes the air up and out. it will be like:

(
)
(
)
(

Now plates styles are a little diffrent. Since each core is flat with a colum at each end there is less places for air to get trapped. The better way to mount these is fittings up, but optimal is again vertical. Anything to make the air flow up and out easier.

Ive got a 19 row plate oil cooler with mocal thermo switch plate for the engine and a 13 row plate oil cooler.

I need to move a few things arround Im going to try and move them closer to the vents by the inner fender well. I need to get an adapter for the mocal switch plate first though. There was a guy here on island that needed one so I helped him out. I wasnt going to be arround for a while so I gave it to him.

Yeah I know, giving huh. I will post up pictures when Im done. Here is a picture of the coolers:

EDIT: Also I would recomend getting some line isolaters to prevent that braided from cutting into each other or any thing else. they come in singles and pairs so you can mount them to something to keep them from wiggeling arround. Oh, and you might want to route them over the sway bar not under it.
