Putting an intercooler on a N/A Z will give you a big 0 gain. you may even lose some hp. Intercoolers are only for FI cars. Now if you want to make your Z run cooler try a combo of oil cooler, larger radiator ( 4 core etc..) and a CAI. that would make it run cooler. Also running synthetic fluids will help and if you are in an area were you can take off cats do it !!!!!

 

Sounds like the problem with the dude who has the Stillen super charger and was hearing some ping'ing in which case he wasn't running a IC, so probably the gases where ending up predetonating. Hmmm.... I'll just wait till I do go FI someday
