You might get flamed for this..... do a quick search on the forums.

But from what I gathered if you have an 03-05 it is not a HR. The difference (I think) is the power is about 15hp more and it turns a little higher rpm at peak??

I thought you could tell the rev-ups from the fact that they consumed oil.

too bad non-revup engines, including A/T's, consume oil as well. The dealership I work at has replaced 2 non-revup engines and 1 revup engine for excessive oil consumption in the past 2 weeks alone.

Wow. You got off light. Maybe the forums are becoming more mature, or all the search warriors are busy in the epic GTM vs MRC thread in the Forced Induction section, but either way I expected way more flaming and failure.

I'll also add that the Rev-Up engines have a higher redline, so a simple way to double check is to look at your tachometer. If your tach has a 6600 rpm redline, then it's not a rev-up engine.
