Question Oil leak problems

Hey guys I have a 03 350Z touring 6 speed and I am new to the Z and its engine. I just bought the car and I noticed that it has a leak. It's not leaking from where the filter seats but from the assembly its bolted on to. I will post some pics if needed. Could you all tell me a little about the assembly or if I need to replace it? Here's whats happening, as soon as the car is on it starts dripping from the back of this assembly.

No I meant with out f__king things up. The car is on jack stands right now. Do I remove the hole assembly? I would I assume I would. From what I can see its one bolt that holds it together, not sure though.

Just leave it... You have to remove tubing & weld nipples shut if you remove it. Pain in teh @ss. But there's a few DIY threads in the FI forum.

Do you all know if there are any recalls on the 03 Zs? The reason I ask is because the tech at the dealer ship had brought it up. There systems were down today but they will let me know tomorrow.

Not for oil leaks. There is one for fuel lines.

I will ask them about the fuel lines. Where are they leaking from?

its a few lines that are located above the rear subframe they will leak when turning and filling if they get to be that bad. They can run it and find out.

Thanks I will bring that up. I have to say my car really feels under powered, granted it has 148k miles on it.

that would defenetly not help did you get your spark plugs replaced? Might want to look into a compression test as well.

I've only had the car for 4 days and I have been putting a lot of work on my 07 ZO6. I have replaced the engine with a Dart billet 454 short block, C5R heads, sheetmetal intake with direct port injection to name a few. I was thinking of pulling the motor out of the 350Z and replacing it with the 427ci from the ZO6. Although I would like to stick to the 350Z engine for a while. Whats the Part # for the NGK iridium plug for a NA engine? I will check on the compression this weekend on the 350Z because I still have lots of work left for the ZO6.
