Here's the pic of the intake and the C5R heads. I still need to port match the intake to the cylinder heads as you all can see in the pic. The heads are flowing 420cfm at 750 lift. I will be using Ti valves,Ti retainers and Jessel shaft mounted rocker arms. The throttle body is a 105mm from Accufab. Here are a few pics.

the cool thing about reality is that it doesnt require your belief to make it so.. and last i checked this was a 350z site.. if you wanna see pics of my ride go to ws6store.com and go the customer pics and flip thru til you see Zachary robertson i think its the 8th page.. vengeance racing did the install your more than welcome to call Ron the general manager or Mike the owner to discuss this.. My wife and i were both deployed to iraq and re-enlisted. so we has a little extra cash laying around... but its cool i understand that jealousy seeds the doubt of envious bystanders.

And heres a thought 2004black350Z you searched the site for my other posts.. and yes i have been in a holding pattern trying to figure out this VQ motor. yes i wanted a 350hp NA VQ motor.. til i found out what it takes to make one. see im used to the ls1 type of thing were heads and exhaust bump you up considerably. i just bought this Z in feb this year and was deployed the first 4 months i had it. and since i was in iraq i didnt have too much time to spend learning about it.. then i got home and have been enjoying my other cars but now its time for something new to do. So sorry that you think me posting threads about gathering info on this car is a dumb idea.. My bad i forgot that forums are the wrong place to further educate yourself. But you dont **** me off with you callow attempts to disprove me or make it seem like im lying or waving that wonderful B.S flag. cuz like is said above. facts are facts no matter how you look at it. and im cool with that.

Hey robbiesZ I see we have one other thing in common. I was in the US Army my self for 9 years till I got multiples shots in my thoracic area over seas. Sadly it ended my career in the Army but at least I KIA a few Iraqis. My MOS was 11B 1P, (Airborne) E-6 and my last post was in Fort Bragg previously 3rd Ranger Bat. I have to say I miss it, but I have a new career in the Medical field thanks to the Voc rehab. You and you're wife stay alert and stay alive out there.
On an other not for all you guys getting worked up because I am using an LSX type motor, no disrespect the engine on Z's are good but I rather use an LSX engine. Oh and BigD2K whats up with you comment there high speed?

Your right bbs350z, Its because I am use to being respected and to have somebody just come out and talk smack because they feel they are Billy bad asses behind there computer. I give respect to everyone and I expect the same. bbs350z if you are looking for a LS7 I can hook you up with my buddy who owns HKE in Houston Texas. He's one of the most respect engine builders out there. He's friends with WJ you know the Pro stock racer and a few others. He was also my instructor at School of Automotive Machinist (SAM). Let me know. Later.

LSx motors are light as hell, I am a 240sx guy and I know that pulling the stock KA and doing a full LS swap actually results in weight loss.

I was curious about this subject and did a little research a while back.

VQ35DE longblock w/ intake manifold - 313 lbs.

LS376/488 crate motor (with intakeand exhaust manifolds) - 415 lbs.

VK56DE longblock w/intake manifold - 513 lbs.

Tremec T56 tranny - 121 lbs.

CD00x transmission - ??? (I couldn't find the weight on this)

If you can figure out a way to make a Tremec T56 rear transaxle work, I think you would be on to something.

I am going with a 4L80E converted to a paddle shifting six speed auto instead of a T56.
