I heard many ppl says Hr engine is better than original VQ35DE.\
What so special is HR engine ? ( HR is High REV right ? )
How do I know my car is HR or not ?

I know that 2006 + engine is 300 Hp is that HR ?

Does it have a big hump on the hood?
does it have two intakes?
what is your redline?

or the fact that its an 06 is a give away.
07 and up uses the HR engine.

 

03-05 vq35de 6700 redline(non rev-up) unless its an 05 35th anniversary manual and grand touring which get the REV-UP 7000 redline with 300hp and less tq than previous engine (not sure about the grand touring thing tho but u get the point)
06 Rev-up motor as mentioned above this motor only came i manual models (mmmm oil consumption! yummy!)
07-08 dual throttle bodies, bump on hood 7500k redline

 

So the HR engine is the one with big hump on the hood, and dual intake right ?

My redline start on 7000 rpm and so on.

The answer is so simple. HR was not available until 2007
