Oil Filter / Oil Question?
Is there an oil filter I can buy at AutoZone or the like that is just as good or better then the oil filters you buy at the dealer? BTW...is 5w30 fully synthetic oil just as good as 10w/30 fully synthetic oil?

Yes
Depends on how much you want to spend:
1. Bosch 3323 -- a real good one for the VQ engine. Has slightly larger capacity for more filtering ability. You might need to add an extra 1/4 of a quart of oil or so. Cost: $6
2. Mobil 1 -- M-105. Same type of filter but with a special synthetic coating for better filtering (smaller size and longer lasting). This again is the large capacity version. Cost $10-12
Both of these are far better then dealer filter and will last longer. Also they are both made by the same company are nearly identical filtering inside where it counts.
