Genuine NISSAN Differential Oil Hypoid Super GL-5 80W-90 according to the owner's manual. But I couldn't find it on performance nissan & west covina nissan website for you.

LISTEN! lol quick update, so i've been searching last night and today for a distributor online with no success. not too many people here care about using the exact NISSAN Differential Oil Hypoid Super GL-5 80W-90 so that's why it's a little more difficult to find it. someone here said that their dealer uses pennzoil gear oil https://my350z.com/forum/maintenance...ase-model.html most people say as long as it's within spec of the manual that all should be fine. i'm gonna try my choice from the old drifting days if nothing comes up: castrol hypoid C 80w-90

i currently have RP 75W-90 on the rear for <1000mi , but i'm changing it out since i'm getting some weird rear end howling when the weather gets in the 20s and the car has been sitting overnight. i already have the OEM nissan GL4 for the transmission to swap out the redline MT90. while i'm under there i'd like to swap out the rear diff for the EXACT BRAND spec if possible. this is why i made a separate post concerning the rear diff fluid. i think the transmission and diff are very sensitive to what's in there when the weather is dropping into the 30s and 20s.
