Default Question about oil viscosity?

hey guys, sorry for the dumb question but i'm new to actually doing the car maintenance on my own rather than a "jiffy lube". i live in miami, fl and its hot here year-round. as you well know, in the summers it can get to 100+ degrees and in the winter, probably the coldest it will get generally is in the 50's. occasionally with the wind chill it'll feel like the 40's and maybe 2 times in the year, itll feel like the 30's. i know the manual states to use 5w30 but is that optimum visocisty for use in the hot weather of miami? thanks

5w30 works just fine for hot climates, and florida is not a hot climate. Hell i run 0w30 just fine in the middle of the desert.

Somewhere that normally gets in the mid teens, low 20's and hotter would be a hot climate.
5w30 is just fine
