I have an '03. Lately I've been getting the 3rd gear grind everyone talks about so i took it to the mechanic and sure enough he said it was the synchros. Since it's not under warranty anymore i've been saving to have the synchronizers replaced and driving it how it is, just babying 3rd. Now all of the sudden it seems that when left in a high rpm the shifter seems to vibrate and the car makes this strange buzz/rattling noise. Anybody know what the problem could be?
