Well, my R compund tires are just killing the stock viscous LSD. It's simply too weak. I want to get something that is streetable, yet good on the track, and hopefully bulletproof. I would like to get it ASAP. Any suggestions/thoughts?
Thanks!
Thanks!

Get the Kaaz unit. Nismo offer's one to. But unless someone can prove it's worth a higher price beyond any doubt, buy the Kaaz.
$731 here http://www.phase2motortrend.com/nismosmod.html

japanparts.com
i would try gruppe-s, since they get cusco parts
might also try bulletproof automotive since they carry a lot of japanese parts.

Good choice Raceboy
We have been using a Cusco MZ LSD in our Aussie race car & it has done over 7000klms of hard driving including the Bathurst 24 hr race.
I pulled it out after the 24hr expecting to have to rebuild it as it had got very hot but it was perfect. The bearings were a bit discoloured from the heat but the clutch plates were like new.
May I sugest that you get the 1way 2way unit & put it in 1way if you are going to use it on the street

OS Giken all the way...............
We switched for the Cusco to the OS Giken and the car has a lot more driveability.
The Cusco comes on too strong mid corner when applying the throttle. THe OS Giken is more streetable and tuneable for the track..
If you want a Cusco Steve I can sell the one we ran before we switched over for a good deal.
I think you would be a lot happier with an OS Giken though for the track and street application.
I can get a good deal on the OS 2 way if you are interested.
Also if you are going to do a diff seriously think about getting a pump lines and cooler. A stock Viscous diff runs well over 380 degrees at a track event with race tires.

I have another a 2 way os Giken diff coming in. The team I raced with last year used the Kaaz in their type R.
The Cusco diff is nice..........its actaully built by OS Giken.....
The OS is a solidly built diff. In the race car its much more driveable. The think I like about the OS is that its tuneable. You can set the delay of when the diff starrts coming.
a two way OS is about $1400.

Raceboy - we have both the MZ and RS versions of the Cusco diff in stock - both are 1.5 way diffs.
MZ is a bit harsher to engage, as it has no balancing springs. Thee RS version incoroporates these springs so it evens out clamp as the LSD engages - much smoother and a bit faster to react as well (though we are talking milliseconds admittedly). No experience with KAAZ on the 350 yet, although on Subarus we ahve donet hem on, theya re quite nosy and very abrasive to engage even when properly setup and broken in - we have preferred the Cusco RS's and Quaife ATB's for the Suabru's for that very reason (plus parts are also easer for us to come by should the need arise)
PM or email us for pricing - both are in stock.
