Default How much HP gain from break in?

I remember some people posted that they felt their Z felt like it got quicker after in broke in. Now, my butt dyno feels my Z feels quicker. I got about 2800 miles and it seems like it is quicker the last couple of hundred miles.

I got 295's on the rear and before they did not seems to break lose that often but now they seem to be breaking lose much more often even though I am not giving it more gas etc.

Has anyone actually dyno'ed their Z new and then lets say after 3-5,000 miles and noticed and increase in hp?

Since you can't go over 4K rpm's for a proper break in, a "before" dyno wouldn't be possible since the dyno gives a breakdown of the entire rpm range.

Why can't you go over 4000 rpms for a proper break-in agin?

Yes, I know under 4K rpm for the 1st 1200 miles per owners manual and for the most part, I did follow that accept one or 2 times just to see how peppy it was.

Lets face it, many of us our not going by the owners manual. I think putting a SC and running 7lbs boost or Nitrious after lets say 3K is pushing it a lot harder than running a dyno.
