Default drifting some on ramps on the 405 but now my engine is toast..... ??

Well this is the story...... whenever i get my oil changed my oil pressure seems to be just great until i've driven it for 3000 miles or so..... then when i slow down and turn corners the pressure drops all the way down and the oil light comes on for a moment then shuts off when i rev it up..... the pressure then goes back up..... the dip stick is usually always filled up with oil almost to the handle...... but when i add 1 quart of oil it seems to fix the pressure issues......

last night i was messing around on a few on ramps on the 405 in the OC area...... car seemed fine until a few hours after that..... I started to get a lot of tapping noise coming from my motor. Today i had a few people tell me to change the oil and run 5/20 to see if maybe that would help some things out or whatever... didn't seem to help because on the way to the mechanic my tapping got worse and turned into tapping and squeeling from my motor like metal on metal or something. I was also losing power so I just pulled over since it sounded like it was going to blow at any second. Anyway does ANYONE have any info, suggestions, help, donations?, advice you could give me? haha i'm pretty much screwed i'm guessing. It's a '03 touring m/t with about 83k miles.... i bought it used with about 23k miles on it.

How much would a new or used motor cost to drop in there if that were the case?

How much would it cost do you think if it's bearings that need replaced?

Does anyone want to fix it for me? I'll trade you a 22" monitor for you getting my car going all good again.... Thanks! first come first serve!

do you have 100 22 inch monitors for sale? if you are looking for the cheapest way out find a used short block in good working condition, around $1200 to $1500 shipped usually, maybe less if you get a great deal. labor will run around $2000 to $3000 usually to swap everything out.

good luck.

OMG!!! YOU HAVE TO BE KIDDING. You owe money on a car, and going to sell it for less, are you going to continue making payments, lmao.

Dude, let them repo the car. This may be the funniest thing that I have read in a very long time!!!

close this thread admin please.... obviously it's not going anywhere because i thought i'd make light of this sh itty situation by adding in some dry humor which obviously didn't turn out so well obviously because now every response i'm getting is pointless information. '17 year old' 'wtf does drifting have to do with this' 'oh no....this thread is full of' 'Dude, let them repo the car' anyway....

THANK YOU 9shelby and Nexx

doesnt sound like your motor was GOING to blow, it sounds like it DID blow. you should at least go to a shop near you that knows what they're doing, and get them to run some tests so they can at least tell you what your problem is. Once you know your problem, it will probably be a whole lot easier to find a solution ...
