Um... okay... here goes...

<clears throat>

My name is Scott, and I am utterly clueless about anything related to the mechanical operations of my engine.

Can anyone point me to an online resource that explains the mysteries of such things as 'prochargers' and 'intercoolers' and 'grounding kits' and such? I'd love to strap some more power to my Z because, well, I'm a guy... and we do that sort of stuff.

Thanks for your time.

Scott

There are a bunch of guys on here (not including me....I'm more/less in your camp) who can help you.

www.howstuffworks.com is the best place to start because you need to crawl before you learn to walk. Read that site to get a good foundation then start comparing mods when you know how a mod affects what on the car because you understand the properties of all the aspects of the automobile. the site will explain turbos superchargers cams gears etc etc etc. have fun, soak it up.

As silly as it may sound, one of these models may be a good way to get a feel for the workings of an internal combustion engine.
