Default Tranny grind in Neutral

In my new '08 6mt (less then 2k miles) I have noticed an oddity with my tranny. When I put it into neutral and release the clutch I can hear a relatively faint grinding noise. From what I can tell, it is just barely touching and from what I recall, the rpms drop very very slightly when I hear the noise (maybe 100-200 rpm).

Anyone else had this issue? I'll be taking it into the dealer this week hopefully. For the time being I'll just keep the clutch pedal to the floor when at stop lights ><

edit: typo

Its normal. I also have this noise. I can hear it alot when im in a garage and I let off the clutch when its in neutral and sounds like a cement grinder.

I have an '06 and I hadn't driven her for awhile.

I go to start her up and then put her in reverse (using clutch) and the shifter wouldn't move one bit.

My neighbor came over and asked what the problem was. He got into it and pulled the clutch up and presto! It seemed like the clutch sunk in a bit.

Normal?!?!?!

Thanks!

Do people expect a sports car to be completely noiseless and comfortable?
