Unhappy Cold start leak?

so basically as the title says, i go out to warm up my car this morning, temp is 24 degrees, run back in get dressed, come back out 10mins later and smell burning oil. This is at least the 3rd time i have smelled this within the 2 years of ownership, but i can now say it is attributed to cold starts.

1. had the valve covers and valve cover gaskets replaced 2 months ago they are not leaking

2. i cant get into the spot to take a pic but the majority of the fluid is located on the undercarriage tray that sits under the transmission, right inside of the passenger side wheel, i have checked with a flashlight and simply cannot see where origin of the leak is coming from

3. i have googled the problem and found that mostly trucks and a few BMW's have had a similar problem, but their causes range from oil cooler to head gasket.

anyone with a Z experience this problem?

Default Found it....name part please

ok got home removed the passenger side tire and started tracing, the leak is coming from whatever sensor/seal the green clip is directly attached to. It is located directly behind the valve cover in pics 3 and 4, anyone know the name of the part?
