Default pilot bearing sizes

This weekend I was swaping my blown non rev up 05 motor for a 2004 non rev up G35 motor and the pilot bearings that i had were both too big. I broke both of them trying to drive them in with a race driver. Anyone ever heard or seen this? I thought that they were all the same size. Any help would be appreciated.

Did you take the old pilot bearing out? This should not be happening, all parts between 03-05 are interchangeable.

this is my 4th or 5th time to do a clutch install and i've never had this problem before. Yes i did take out the old one. I'm going to get a new bearing and freeze it and heat the output just a little and hopefully it will slide in.

ok so i took a mic to the hole on the crankshaft and it measure almost 40 thousenths smaller than my 05 vq35de. I realized that rust or corrustion or a bur may cause the pilot bushing to not want to go in but 40 thousenths it a little more than a bur. Is the output shaft on an (original) automatic motor different than a 6 speed? I'm thinking either that or that the motor isn't from a 350z or g35 mabe a fx or something else.
