hey guys i should be getting my shifter this week... thing is i'll need some sort of lift to get under the car where the bolt is.. anyone here in so. cali going to do this? I'd gladly pay someone to let me use their equipment or to do it for me...

Wow i'm glad to see that rogue is making a short shifter for the 350z! Guys i've been a member on dtmpower.net and bimmerforums.com for some time and let me tell u, rogue has nothing but the best products. I'm actually surprised thier making short shifters for the z! I'll be ordering one, have to get my car first though hehe

 

Looks like Rogue short shifter is going to be IT.

Can't wait for the early order people to post their impressions after installing it.

 

For those that have ordered/received your Rogue Engineering 350Z/G35 SSK, you will be receiving an email immediately related to the shifter.

There is an issue with the first shifters that have been sent out, and we're working to correct this within the next week. This affects those that have already ordered and shipped as of 10/31/03.

Nothing major, but it does hold up new orders until November 10th when we resume shipping product again.

 

Damn, I was looking forward to installing it this week. I still never got a tracking #. Does this mean mine was never shipped and the one I get next week is the updated one?

Well, I got mine, but I also got an email saying that there was an error in production and they will fixing the problem and sending out another one, so I don't think anyone has tried to install it yet since it won't work right.

 

Reshipment was supposed to take place yesterday, but I didn't receive a shipping notice like I did when the first (glitchy) one was shipped, so I'm guessing (hoping) that it will be later this week.

First off, many, many thanks to those that have placed orders with us for our short shift kit. Without you, this product would not exist (literally!).

Second, we recieved parts today, and have them all assembled. This means, starting tomorrow, if you have a shifter that you've already recieved, your replacement will leave tomorrow. Email addys that have been provided to us, will recieve UPS tracking numbers by the end of tomorrow.

For those that ordered after 10/31, your orders will also be going out.

Just an update...

Most everyone should have gotten an email from UPS, for the tracking numbers of the shifters that have gone out. There are a few which we did not have handy, but if you email us directly (info@rogueengineering.com), we can email you the tracking information.

Thanks again, for your patience and support in this matter. We now have product that is good to go, in stock, ready to ship.
