Use OEM... Well K&N says that it doesnt need to be that big because they have good filters... but who knows...
But even the OEM looks hella small... I did a shitload of oil changes on a lot of other cars and our oil filter is pretty much the same size as 4 cylinder cars, even smaller than some other 4 cylinder cars....

You should be using an OEM filter. It, too, is small.

Most of the filters for this car are small.
Last time I checked, the OEM filters used the FRAM style cardboard caps.

I may have to disagree on the last 2 comments... I think smaller... well tighter... would be better... Haha.

I personally use the filters meant for the nissan titan. 1010 is the k&n part number. same threads but bigger volume.

if having a bigger oil filter meant better, than we would have a huge 3x3' one on our cars. but our size should be filtering enough.

Unless it's changed since 07 Napa Gold and Wix are the same filters. Wix has made Napa's filters for years. I use either Wix or Amsoil filters on my personal stuff.

+1 on the K&N or M1.
+1 on OEM filters having the same internal compostion as Fram, cardboard. From what I can remember from the controversial thread I read some time back, there are 2 OEM filters that can be used with our Z's. The parts department will always reference the filter that has internals made of cardboard. Carboards internals FTL...
