Default Vortech belt sheared, cut this harness.. help

Hello,

We have a rev-up 06 350z here with a full Vortech Supercharger kit installed. We have had the kit on for maybe 8 months and about 4k miles. I drove the car a few times the past couple weeks since the weather was nice here in Ohio. I popped the hood today to clean up etc... and notice that the serp belt sheared off a perfect 1/4 inch width off belt and was just hanging there not really tangled in anything... I also noticed when this happened the belt severed all the wires going to a small blue harness plugged into the driver side timing cover... what is this for? there are no extra lights on the dash and performance seems normal etc...

I already have an extra belt so I will replace that... what to do with this harness? Safe to drive a few miles to a shop? Thanks for the info

I do not have my phone with me nor a digital camera... so i tried to make this random pic below haha for reference to look like my motor.

Would a sensor for the valve timing or something like that? I'm not too technical, but it seems like that.

i guess the other question would be why the belt sheared... the side it came off of was towards the front of the vehicle.. the belt deflection is within spec.. between 1/2 inch and inch of play... it has jumped a rib or 2 off the last pulley near the blower twice opposite the cog pulley.. i chalked it up to it being too loose... maybe something is off center or out of line.

I figure it would be some sort of a sensor for that... i noticed 03-05 Z motor pics do not have this... thats why i had to use paint program to show it... but performance was good.. i was on it pretty good a few times last night and popped the hood this morning...

I am not too technical either I know clutches, flywheels and suspension haha and I stop after that.

i cant find a pic of rev-up motor, but pretty sure its the IVT solenoid wiring. you can try to resplice. when my cog belt snapped it shorted out my IVT wires on my non-revup and fried my ecu.

good luck
