looking to buy a transmission off of ebay..any thoughts?

Default looking to buy a transmission off of ebay..any thoughts?

i have a 03 and 3rd 4th and 5th gear are grinding...i am looking to replace the tranny and would like to know what people thought about pickin up a used tranny on ebay? or if you already have,what happened thanks for all your help

might be just a clutch adjustment...or you might need clutch fluid...

yea i would take it to a shop that you know well, and have them check it out, you might not need to replace the entire thing...if you dont care and you just want to replace it...i would be hesitant to buy that off ebay, people say with things like that its 50/50

i recently put a new clutch kit in and the old one was shot down to the rivets and burnt...not my doing though...so after the new cluth the car shifted a lil better but still grinds at high rpms and i cannot down shift into fourth at all..double clutching helps but still grinds here and there...i have also tried putting synthetic tranny fluid and didn't really feel any difference....has anyone gotten a tranny off ebay...input is needed..don't know what to do..
