CEL codes P1288 and P1289
I got a CEL second time in a week.
First time it was an air temp on the MAP sensor. We got that one reset.
This time we got P1274, P1278, P1279 which I found out after searching that it's got something to do with the AFR sensor.
Also got the P1288 and P1289 codes, that I can't find what they are. Can anyone help with that?
My car has a Vortech kit on it and it's controlled by a Haltech Platinum ECU.
Since I got AFR sensor triggers, it may help to tell you that I've got dual widebands installed, one on each bank of the engine, and I'm getting quite a bit of a difference between the value each one of them displays, when I'm at half throttle. At WOT, they both even out around 11.6 though.
The factory lamda sensors give almost identical readings.
I only have the kit installed a couple of weeks. Never had a CEL trigger before I installed the Vortech.
Any ideas?

P1288 Switching Solenoid for Air Assisted Injection Valves Bank 2 Control Circuit Signal Low
P1289 Switching Solenoid for Air Assisted Injection Valves Bank 2 Control Circuit Signal High

I have a haltech and I used to get the same codes, especially when cranking the engine a long time to get it to start. After few days of fine tuning the start-up parameters the codes went away.
As for the O2 sensor readings, You have to calibrate Haltech program so it's sees the same thing that your aftermarkets sensor are sending. Look at O2 sensor calibration for bank1 and bank2 in the lower far left hand menu. Make sure that the After market O2 sensors are displaying the same ratios as the Haltech sees. At 12.0 mine was dead on, but at 14.6 the Haltech was off considerably. Call Hal with Injected performance if you need more help

- per my G35 2004.5 FSM:
P1288 is the AFR sensor 1, bank 2 circuit response is slow
"The response (from RICH to LEAN) of the A/F signal computed by ECM from A/F sensor 1 signal takes more than the specified time."
P1289 is the same sensor but indicates:
"The response (from LEAN to RICH) of the A/F signal computed by ECM from A/F sensor 1 signal takes more than the specified time."
Essentially your driver side AFR is not in sync with what the the stock ECU is expecting.
Idle has been perfect so far too.

anymore news on this? i just got my haltech installed and have to crank the car a tad longer too...plus i got a handful of codes i'm researching right now, though none are ones you listed.

sorry to resurrect, i just had a new ROM file made for my car for Osiris and I get these two codes, running haltech and osiris as well. by 'retune factory ECU' do you mean they just disabled the codes? If so, I have my cipher cable and RT tuning will just click them off for me. I went thousands of miles with no CELs, now after the the new ROM was loaded, I have the codes i used to throw 1288 and 1289 with the UTEC that used to be in there
