So my driver side window got stuck down and I disassembled to door to get to the motor cleaned it and put it back together and it will roll up and down but the problem is that now when I hit the button that would normally make it roll all the way up it goes up about 2 inches then stops like it has hit the top, if I just hold the button it will go up and stop about a couple inches before it hits the weather strip but then if I shut the door it goes all the way up to the weatherstrip. Ive fixed window motors before and never had this happen. with the speaker mods and everything else Ive done I dont know how much my poor door panel is gonna be able to take with me keep taking it on and off again. any ideas.

 

your going to need to do the window motor reset.
