Default 06 acting weird :/

ok..as i was heading home tonite, my car was acting weird when i was on a full stop. the idle was fluttering up n down between 1 and .5 rpm..but a rev or 2 wouldnt correct. but the main problem is when i was rolling (doesnt matter what speed and no crazy driving and i was in 6th gear at 3rpm) and i'm coming to a stop, i put it in neutral to have it free rolling til i hit the stop light. while the rpm was going down, it actually hit 0.5 rpm but flutter back to its normal state idling at 1.. (this happen so quick) soo that caught my attention. soo i was almost home. one light left and i did the same thing. put it in neutral and let the car roll to the light, right when i put it in neutral, i watch the rpm gauge..but it pass the .5 rpm level and actually hit the 0 mark, then all of a sudden all my lights turned on..obviously the car died.... (the experience seem like i had a light *** flywheel and when putting it to neutral the rpm flies down to 0 n dies...) just saying...

soo, what would be the problem with my car?? i think this happened to me twice now. i have an 06 enth. w/ testpipe, ypipe, and CAI everything else stock. with 43k miles on it.

Something wrong with my stock clutch/flywheel??
help would be greatly appreciated..THX in ADVANCE!!

somthing is wrong with your idle you might have to go to the dealer and have them reset it your car should idle at 750 rpms not 1,000 or 500. you can also try an ecu reset

Any particular reason that you keep putting the car in neutral?

I had similar problems with my old 95 dsm. different car/different engine I know but still sounds the same. When my car was acting up it would die if I coasted down from anything above 3k, anything less it was fine. My problem ended up being in the intake system. A valve was acting up and screwing with things. I'm not saying thats the problem here, but its worth looking in to. Good luck with the gremlin hunting!

I would try swapping the OEM intake back in and see if it corrects things. If you still have a problem, go through the idle air reset procedure.

no reason. its just when you see a stop light and you know your gonna be at a full stop, might as well put your car on neutral and let it coast there instead it having it in gear then putting it in neutral when you finally stop.

its not mainly putting the car in neutral causing the problem..its when i'm in gear and its around 3rpm and once i press on the clutch to put it to neutral the rpm will start to drop and stop at 750rpm (idle) but with my issue..it passes that or it'll hit 0 and then car dies...

alright..well i just perform all the task on the website and took it for a drive. i was trying to purposely have the car die on me by aggressive high reving while its in gear then, pressing down on the clutch and watch the rpm go down, which hasnt pass the first line below 1k rpm. soo im assuming this might of cured it for now..not really sure but i guess time will tell...
