I got into an accident a few years ago and the EVAP canister got crushed. I replaced it w/ a used one, but the CEL is still on for it. I'm guessing somewhere it's sensing a leak or whatever. How would I be able to bypass the evap sensors? Resistor or something?
i repostioned mine when i had my greddy evo2, the cel came on but went off after 100miles or so, keep in mind that evap systems are extremely sensitive
Why don't you check the code so you know what it's for? It might be totally unrelated. Even if it is an evap code, at least you'll have more of an idea of what's wrong.
