Default Lower compression head gaskets???

with all of the problems that people are having with S/C (or maybe its just me thinking there are problems) i was thinking.........the VQ35 compression may be too high for FI. now a trick that guys with the 2JZ-GE (toyota/lexus) motors are using, to be able to run boost without compromising the engine, is installing thicker head gaskets. the -GTE motors already has low compression pistons and all and can accept tons of air. is there anyone out that makes these gaskets for us? im sure they would be alot less costly than 6 new pistons. maybe im wrong. and if i am, im sure someone will let me know. i would think getting the compression down to even 9:1 would allow a significant increase in boost, thus more power. although, the low end would suffer..........

Default

Run two head gaskets, one on top of the other. Works like a champ.
