Default Dropping the subframe to put the motor back in... HELP (Have free candy)

I pulled my motor to do.install a multitude of things.

Lastly on my list I finish installing my new APS 3.5" Test pipes and I realized it will not fit back in the engine bay from above and the subframe needs to be dropped so it can be installed from below.

Never done this and was looking for a little guidance from anyone who has done this first hand.

Thanks guys

P.S. I live in Killeen, TX 76541. I was in a 120mph motorcycle accident and broke 8 ribs, 1 clavical, 1 scapula, fractured a vertebrae, punctured a lung and got a contusion on my frontal lobe. I clearly can not do this myself and am relying on friend's with the mechanical competence of eight year olds. If your interested in coming to me and helping me do this, I've got $$$!
Times are hard, I know there's someone out there... lol

The turbo blankets are secured by sharing a small portion of the test pipes. If I remove the test pipes, the turbo blankets will not stay attatched and they are already cut to fit so I'm stuck in my current situation.

I contemplated removing an entire manifold/turbo/test pipe to fit the engine in from above and then put that in from below but I'm skeptical as to whether it will fit and considering my physical circumstances, I don't have an easy means to do these things.

Would love to come help out a motorcycle racer , but live a little to far away. Your wreck was a little worse than my last one, only 4 ribs for me and no scapula, just found out that T9 was messed up pretty bad.

if I were you, I consider removing the turbo blankets so that you can remove the downpipes. I'm sure you'll be able to install the blankets once everything is installed.

I say this because you never want to install something in a manner that the only way to service it is to remove the motor. the downpipes are definately an item that you'll want to be able to serrvice with the motor in the car.

To the OP, I have an APS setup much like yours. I don't think you will be able to get the driver side turbo blanket on with the engine in because there is absolutely little room (maybe 3/16") between the steering shaft knuckle joint and exhaust turbine housing. If can't put it on the diver's side I don't think it's a good idea leave it on the passenger side only. I bought 2 custom fit blankets only to find out it won't work without creative trimming on the blanket and maybe not even then. If you do however find a way please let me know

terrasmak- Man, that **** sucks doesn't it... lol I hate feeling useless. Survive Iraq and nearly die here...

Quadcam. If I need to service it I can always cut off the blankets. Here's what I'm feeeling right now; attempt to drop the subframe, bolt up the motor and put it all back on. If that is a BOLO then I'm gonna drop the bank 2 manifold, turbo, and test pipe and attempt to slip it up as one unit from beneath with the engine in place but not bolted to the mounts... But yes, I know it's not a good idea to have semi-permanent blankets because work will inevitably need to be done.

BrazenZ- Like what I said to Quad, I plan to keep the driver's side manifold/turbo/TP in place and remove the passenger side unit if it comes down to that. But yeah, I was looking over the shaft and knuckle which are currently disconnected and realized that there is no way its fitting through once the engine is in. I had intended to go with fitted blankets but opt out at the last minute because I thought space constraints could be an issue.

But brazen, I'm noticing your nicer car, higher budget, and thus supremacy. I propose we trade... You add $
