Good review. I hope Nismo gives us a shot at the ECU for the US spec Z's. I would love to have it.

nope, it would probably make your engine go bye-bye.

assuming it advances the timing and leans out the fuel curve, i dont wanna guess how much it would cost for fuel (or what the octane would need to be) if you tried that.

We ought to start some kinda email 'campaign' for a US spec nismo ecu...unless someone has concrete evidence it is already in the works.

If you remember a few momths ago on this thread and others. someone came on here and said something about that they had heard from a Nissan representative that Nissan (Nismo) was going to release a sports package including a new ECU for the 350Z that would up the horsepower to around 350hp. I remember reading alot of negative thoughts and name calling on that thread. The remember reading the word "TROLL" alot. And now look, it seems as if Nissan (Nismo) may actually be releasing some kind of ECU to actually up the 350Z horsepower to around 350hp. I don't write in much but I do alot of reading and I see alot of hate talk on these forums when in reality they are just here to help us with our loved one, our beloved 350Z. And yes the new ECU sounds great. I don't know if I want to spend $4000+ on a new ECU, but I do know that I would rather put that in my car than a supercharger. It just sounds less harmful to the engine. And if this new ECU does make it to America hopefully the price will drop to around $2000. And then good luck keeping it in stock.

Thanks for that rev, it was very cool.

NISMO reps have said that after the sports resetting ecu, there's going to be a S spec and R spec ecus. R spec ecu is suppose to be so aggressive that the Z overheated.

Does the Nismo SPORTS CATALYZER PAIR and Nismo WELDINA CRUISING EXHAUST add more HP than Borla Exhaust System alone?
