Default Another Borla Install Question....

For those of you that have installed the Borla True Dual Exhaust.....

Did all of you have a torque wrench so that you could tighten everything to 32-35 foot pounds as stated in the Borla paperwork?..... If not, did you just tighten everything so it was tight........being careful not to crush the pipes?

A torque wrench is the only tool required that I do not have for this project.

Thanks,

Wedge

I've got 2 of them. I'm sure there were some who didn't use one including professional installers that just didn't use one.

Johnny Franklin muffler here in Santa Rosa charged me $75.00 to install mine. I watched them and $75 bucks was a good investment. Everthing is lined up perfectly and torqued.

Just used a pneumatic impact wrench. You're gonna have to put some SERIOUS torque on those things to crush the pipes. It'd probably break the bolts before you crushed the pipes.
