My 06 got a new tranny with less than 12k miles on it. Started hanging up and grinding going into 5th.

BUT I took it to the dealership, service manager test drove with me in it. It ground going into 5th. he said "Well looks like that will be a new transmission."

A week later they had it in. I dropped the car at 8 am and picked it up at noon.

Yeah it was a problem but it was just about painless to deal with.

I had an '05 6MT, that's the non-revup motor. No problems with the transmission at all for 35k miles. Although I had the dreaded axle click at low speeds, and the passenger window motor was a bit slow to go up when it was cold outside. Oh and the oil consumption too.

57,700 miles on my 05. No problems since (knock on wood). Still on my stock clutch and flywheel and has alot more life to it. Drive it right, itll treat you right
