Question Clutch friction point...? (Where is it for you?)

I am really curious as to where you deem the "sweet spot" is on your Z's clutch? Having read this and another board, it seems that the rise of the clutch runs the gamut of all Z's produced irregardless of production date.

Mine, feels like three to three and a half inches above the floor... then the sweet spot kicks in... others have indicated that it is only half an inch to one inch from the floor.

Need to know (actually, would like to know) if this is a problem, the norm, or simply a variant.

(This was posted on another board, and is now being posted here. I've heard about a lot of clutch engagement issues on this board, but now a poll regarding such would be interesting.)
