Default Quest engine in 350Z?

Hey guys I have the opportunity buy a 3.5L 04 nissan quest engine for a rediculously low price. Im planning to use the block for my turbo build since its a vq35 but I wanted to know if it would be able to bolt right up to the Z? Obviously there are a couple things that have to be replaced like the intake and so on but is it possible and are there any major variances? Thanks

From what I've heard on here, the FWD blocks are different from ours.

You could use the heads off of it. Sure you could use the block if you made some custom motor mounts. If some one were to make some fwd to rwd mount adaptors that would work we would have a crap load of cheap vq35 engines for 350zs.

I have seen a fwd 3.5 motor customized to fit in a g35. From what I have heard the fwd 3.5 blocks are stronger. ( That's just some rumors ) granted the guy had to do extensive work and modifications to make it work but when all said and done his car made 720rwhp and has for a lot of miles with no issues.

I do not have all the details on what he had to do but bottom line is it can be done for $$

Like other have mentioned u can pick up a cheap block to play build.
