Z1 Performance: If it would help, for our race car, we had the Nismo and stock cams profiled. Since this stuff is way over my head I would be glad to fax you the info to start your project off.

Why don't you just post it right here? Along with myself there are a lot of people who want to know.

hehe..edited for spelling!

Jeff - if you could email me (or fax) the cam card for each, that would be a tremendous help.

We have Tomei cams arriving to us end of October.

I don't have a scanner here, so I'll forward it to Z1 Performance and let them run with it.

get an idle controler from HKS, or the E-manage has an idle correction, built in it.

I have a somewhat different question. What do you look for in cams for a NA application and cams for FI?

The problem with the duration #'s for these cams is that they are all advertised duration, which means not much. You have to compare the durations using a standard...like @.050" These numbers should be available from the manufacturers.

Of course that's a US spec..I don't know what they use in Jp.

Honestly, there is no magic answer - what kind of FI? wher do you want your power band to be? What other changes to the motor are you willing to do?

I would think you would need to add rods/pistons to that list, no?
