268º cams for street, too much?
They were $1260 but had the only set in the U.S. I was going to have to wait at least 2 weeks to get them anywhere else! SGP put me in touch with them because they knew I wanted them "quick"! Will be calling SGP tomorrow morning & order forged pistons, rods, retainers, & head bolts, etc. They have all of that in stock!! In your opinion, what's the best available(now) flywheel! Installed a SPEC stage 3 clutch 3 weeks ago so it must be compatible!
You know, you can save like 600+ bucks if you just wait a few weeks for the pistons, I know of a place that has the rods for our car in stock etc.. I'm pretty sure the pistons SGP is selling you have to bore out the cyl a bit, screw that. Contact me if you want info.
I know this thread is sorta old, but I did some investigation on the "Crane" cams.
Someone said Crane is going to be releasing some Cams for the 350z the first of 2004....
All I can say, is, lets hope they do. Based on the pricing per CAM they sell for other imports, a set of 4 would probably cost around $600.00. In addition, they make the springs, valve, etc for DIRT CHEAP compared to Tomei.
Anyone have some scoop on what the latest Crane is upto? Someone with a contact over there give them a call!!
