We have both N/A and Turbo specific camshafts.
The 272s are a mild cam and great for a daily driver, I wanted something more wild and went with the 288's in my car

*Notice the ability to chose if your car is N/A or Turbo.

Hey George,
What would be your opinion on an N/A HR set up like:
GTM 302 cams, GTM valve springs, CP Pistons, Eagle Rods, and some type of cam timing unit...
Good for daily driving during summers only (4months)?

What more modification needs for my car if I want go for Stage 2 (272)?
How much approximation WHP I will get?
may i face any problem later?

Thanks bro
I daily drive my G and I have stage 3 cams (288s)
Expect 20+ RWHP depending on other supporting mods and tuning, there aren't any reasons you would experience any problems down the road

I can speak from experience on cams...
Unless you're ready to spend a lot of $$ on tuning, you won't get it to run correctly. I have an 04 Z as well, and before I went FI, I had put in Nismo cams into my car with all the bolt ons. The ECU isn't adjustable (you need to compensate and re-adjust idle air etc) so we constantly had stalling issues. Also, CELs were common, and the car didn't make any more power than before, except in the high end (This is due to no tune). I had technosquare re flash the ECU as well, which didn't fix anything either, but we got the idle higher and bumped the redline slightly. Even in Japan, when using Cams, new ECU software is used by nearly every manufacturer to accomodate the new cams. The ECU and variable timing do not like the higher duration of the cams it seems , and have a tendancy to wig out.
There's absolutely no point in doing cams unless you're ready to spend a lot of time and money of tuning. And by tuning I mean an FCON or something along those lines, not just a simple re-flash.
In addition, better valvetrain SHOULD be used so that when you raise your redline your motor can actually handle it.
at the price point of all that is involved you might as well go FI, gain more power and even with a simple FI setup, be more reliable than with cams...
IMO
