I dont remember honestly... But that sounds exactly right....

Im debating between

1. ACT 6 puck

2. Comp clutch Stage 4

3. Comp Clutch Stage 5

4. Spec Stage 5

5. CM Stage 7

6. Tilton

i have the comp clutch stage 4. I just pulled it down and the friction plate welded itself to the pressure plate and flywheel. I don't slip the clutch. I put 500 miles on it to break it it. 1 4500rpm launch at the track and it was done....welded together. Pieces of the pucks were missing too. Hopefully when i talk to comp clutch tomorrow we can work something out for a replacement because i didn't even come close to abusing this clutch. I've only had it for about a month of street use.

what's the stage 5?

what's the CM stage 7? what would the cost on that beautiful thing be?

Which OS clutch do you have Nexx? I have a Triple on the way. I can't wait to see how it compares to my old ATS Triple.

I was referring to Comp, but I see the CM for 1500.

ah cool.

ya, i'm not sure what happened to mine. drove it for over 500 miles street before track use. 3 runs and gone. I never slip the clutch either. from the floor all the way out on launch. I have to send it back and have them "inspect it" even though they said by the pics they have never seen one do that. I guess my car will now sit for weeks on jack stands while they decide what to do. Clutch was only a month old too. I'm going to say by the time i get one back and get it together it will be winter here which sucks. ruined my season.

thats bullschit, that theyve never seen this happen. my stage 4 did the same exact thing, which is why im running the OS triple now.

Update - put about 500 miles on this setup and its literally about twice as easy to drive. 1rst gear is almost a breeze now (except for huge hollywood hills) and overall more comfortable in traffic. and so far - handles the trq just fine.
