Default More throttle body issues...

Well, I replaced my throttle body unit, but the car still has issues with throttle response at times. What else can I do to get to the bottom of this? This is getting to be a pain in the ***, and any ideas would be helpful...

I thought that the car did that automatically. What do I need to rectify this?

Why? The car ran perfectly for a long, long time without it.

The issue is that the throttle is unresponsive on an irregular basis. The revs climb super slowly, no matter how much throttle input I give it.

I hated the utec, it would take over so abruptly.. It wasnt smooth.. Like I said, if you got a reflash or Osiris tune.. It would be smoother, you also should log your driving for a few minutes, make sure your not tapped out with your MAF.. I was.. So I upgraded it..

JayZ I think your thinking too hard here.

James replaced his failing TB with a new one and is having issues still. It is possible because the new TB has not be learned by the OEM ECU. I dont think the UTEC is the issue.

James, have you done the procedures above?

Not yet. I'm drinking now, so I may hold off until sunday. We're going to Petit LeMans tomorrow at Road Atlanta. You should come.

Ok, I've done the relearn procedures a few times now and no luck. The throttle will respond fine for a couple of minutes, and then it will just go back to its old unresponsiveness. This is seriously getting ridiculous, and I'm beyond frustrated about this.

What else can possibly be the problem?

I know it probably doesn't happen often but maybe its not the TB, its the switch on the pedal sending the signal? if it isnt an ECU issue and its not a TB issue you just have to consider everything else in the loop.

Its going into limp mode correct? Your slip light comes on the dash right? I think Sexyrob is thinking of the APP Sensor which is something i've been battling with for some time. It's the frist thing I thought of after reading your post.
