Default Go with Technosquare ECU?

I want the best ECU out there, that's why i'm asking this question, does anyone have the technosquare ECU? your impressions? does anyone have another ECU from one of those japanese sites that I can't read? ECU goes in my car next, then headers... I just want feedback about technosquare cause from what i've read so far I like.

Thanks guys!

you should do headers and complete your i/h/e first, then ECU

Yeah, I would do the other mods first before the Technosquare ECU. I heard they are very good at tuning so that your gains for your mods are maximized. From what I hear they are top notch though.

The Japanese ECU's don't even work on ours U.S. spec Z's.

The Technosquare ECU is the only U.S. spec ECU available.

The SMT6 is going to be a while; the JWT is said to be out next year.

Your only choice is the Technosquare or to go with a piggy-back like the S-AFC II.

Yeah, I would rather have high-flow cats over an intake anyday.

the ECU will work for all modifications that you have... if you are planning on getting the Crawford PLenum, then it would be wise to notify them prior to getting the ECU since that will significantly alter the air flow into the engine....

Chebosto/All,

I am curious if you have to take your car to Technosquare for them to tune the ECU to match the mod's that you have on your car? Is this the 'best' way to do it? I currently have: AEM cold air intake, Stillen Exh, crank pulley, grounding kit, and Crawford Plenum.

The website simply states to call. Does this tuning cost extra? How long does this take? I am only about 2 hours from Techno and trying to determine if this is worth it for me and how to proceed?

Thanks...as always, appreciate all of everyone's help!

if you are local, then i would definately take the time and drive by and get it specifically tuned to your car on their dynos..

why?

it will build a bond between tuner and you. and you will learn probably more about your own car in that hour or two talking with them than you will reading a weeks worth of threads here on this forum.

to get a 'quote', the best bet is to talk to them... so you can see it for yourself instead of ppl taking my word over someone elses..

i guarantee, you'll be happy with it--
