LSx Swap questions
Hey guys, I know a few members on this forum have done LS swap.
For the brackets and most everything else, its not an issue, but I'm wondering what you guys did for the engine harness and wiring.
How'd you guys wire it up, or where did you buy the stuff from? Theres a few shops that claim they've done it, but so far have been generally unresponsive.
Edit:
Before anyone tells me to search, I already did, shut your trap. Nobody documented ECU issues well other then saying that Hinson sucks.

wow quite a project man, maybe hit up a few of the guys that did it? Im sure noah is tired of talking about it but he seems to be the man to talk too since he documented almost every single step of the project. did he not address this in his thread?

I completed a ls2 swap in my old 1997 240sx with DBW setup. the wiring wasn't too hard in the 240sx but im sure it will be more work in a 350z. If your a decent welder you can do everything yourself. but if your not your gonna spend alot of money
I know that hinsonsupers.com has a whole kit for the 350z and LT headers. In the 240 community hinson was good at first but ive heard alot of complaints about them. They do good wiring work. The place you need to check is ls1tech.com. There
glws.

I'm not too worried about anything welding or mounting related. My biggest concerns were mating the GM ecu to the Nissan ecu, and there are a few companies that claim that they can do it, but I haven't seen any hard proof.
AFAIK both Noah's and SnyperZ's Z had their dashes still lit up, but I'm not 100% on this.
Also i thought Noah is gone and sold his car?

noah was the first and hinson used his car as the guinea pig... just read the big thread he started and it might answer some questions on adapting the rear, tranny, wiring, etc.
