Default What's the difference between " JWT S1, S2, and C2 Cams"

Hey everyone, i understand that the C2 cams are prefered for turbo's and s/c's. But i would like more precise details and informations about each one. I have a 2003 Z and looking at buying a new performance long block and installing a turbo in the future. But would like to have just the engine in for one year. Would it be best to just buy the C2 cams or S1. Let me know of any suggestions, Thanks.

Yes, I have the S2. TTg35forT has the C2 and is switching to the C8. The S1 has longer duration and less lift than the S2. There were some idle issues, so the S2 was an attempt to correct that by decreasing duration slightly, but compensating for it by increasing lift for similar power gains. I would PM TTg35forT re: his experience with the C2. Much depends on your eventual turbo build and where in the rpm band you are looking for power to peak. S1 and S2 will peak lower than C2 which will peak lower than C8.
