How much does it cost to Swap a Long Block? Also Need Long Block PREFERENCE!!!
Well i have a sludged up motor and im looking into buying a long block. I was wondering if anyone knows how much labor will cost to do a motor swap on a 2003 m/t ?
Also im not sure if i should purchase this Full Long Block from here... importpartspro
http://www.importpartspro.com/st3vqloblni3.html
or should i buy the Cosworth Short Block and use stock heads or buy the whole long block from here
http://www.stillen.com/product.asp?i...LK1&c=PE&m=all
http://www.stillen.com/product.asp?id=COSWNHEAD1
Please any and all advice would be appreciated.
Cosworth Long Block = $12,600
Cosworth Short Block = $8,200
Importpartspro Long Block = $8,500 shipped
Im def putting on a GReddy 18G Twin Turbo in the future so i need to know if the importpartpro long block can be reliable and long lasting for this build. Also is there anything else i should purchase for more reliability, like a new radiator and etc??? Thank you

Try searching
The Cosworth is quality stuff if you can afford it (as im sure you know) but also look into the others such as the GTM long blocks and Forged packages
As for the GReddy kit i think most go for the 20G kit

Wasn't this already being discussed in your other thread. Go to FI and look at their builds and you will see very quickly that
A. You do need supporting mods.
B. Reliability is never gauranteed with FI
