hello all.. i changed my manual tranny fluid and diff fluid with amsoil when i was around 20k
now approaching 45k and gonna change it again..
when i did the change last time i bought TWO seperate suctions guns to pump the fluid in the tranny and diff. cause i didnt wanna mix up the left over fluids in suction gun.
now i can remember what one i used for tranny or what one i used for diff lol
shame on me! should have marked them..
anywaise is it cool to mix them up a little? thoes suction guns leave a good amount of fluid in them even though you pump it all out.
thanks

Your changing the fluids too early imo. Your not taking advantage of amsoil's qualities. Longer change intervals and its synthetic, so it will not break-down as easily or quickly. Just my .02.
First there is not enought in the suction gun to worry about. Both fluids are gear oils, if one was AFT and the other gear oil i would say otherwise. Second you can unscrew the back of the suction gun for simple cleaning. Last , normal oil has a 40k service rating , amsoil can easily be run for 40k miles.
