Default CEL blinks when reving.

I changed out my test pipes (because they where cracked and kept popping up CEL 1273.) with some berks HFCs and now when I rev up the CEL blinks like its giving off a knock?¿ But it doesnt stay and when I check for codes, everything is clear. Any Ideas? I also changed out my knock sensor+harness before that since it had a knock sensor code up. That went away and never came back.

Any ideas?

How's your engine running? Blinking CEL is for severe misfiring. Since you changed out your knock sensor wiring, I would double check all the stuff you took off to make sure they're on back correctly

as farmer said, the flashing CEL is from an individual cylinder misfire. Random misfires are no big deal.

Get a code scanner and check the code that came up. It will probably have a P030X. *the X will be an actual number from 1-6. what ever number comes up the cylnder with the misfire. For example, a P0305 is for a cylinder #5 misfire.

A P0300 code is for random cylinder misfires.

There where no codes being stored after the misfires happened. I got home, checked around the engine bay, nothing was out of place. I decided to disconnect the battery for like 2 hours, and it seems to have fixed the problem. 150 miles with no check engine light showing its ugly light. So im a happy guy. Thanks for the response guys.
